About Our Client

We are working with a venture capital firm that is looking to hire a Senior Executive Assistant to support the CEO. The role will offer some flexibility but will be "in office" in a downtown Toronto office in the first several months to accommodate the establishment of a strong working relationship with the CEO.

Responsibilities

The Senior Executive Assistant will be responsible for:
  • Managing the CEO's complex day-to-day calendar
  • PA duties as needed
  • Expense management
  • Travel arrangements, organizing, arranging out of town dinners and meetings
  • Board support, minutes, preparation of materials, presentations
  • Ensuring CEO has various materials in advance of meetings
  • Managing processes and continuously looking to improve administrative processes
  • Email correspondence, responding to, managing inbox and advising of important matters
  • Screening calls
  • Other administrative duties as required
Qualifications

The successful applicant for the Senior Executive Assistant role will have:
  • 7+ plus years of senior executive assistant experience supporting C-SUITE or Executive level, 1:1
  • Strong MS Office skills are a must with top notch attention to detail
  • Polished and professional, confident and unflappable personality
  • Highly resourceful
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
