SENIOR ESTIMATOR – WASTEWATER PLANT – CONFIDENTIAL SEARCH

Qualifications

  • B.S. in engineering or equivalent or has ten years progressive experience and or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Competent with industrial piping systems, materials and installation techniques, water / wastewater treatment facilities, including pump stations and related process equipment.
  • Proficient with computing costs, calculate figures and amounts that include but not limited to interest, percentages, basic algebra and geometry.
  • Negotiated project experience preferred, including technical writing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide estimating capabilities and experience to the entire estimating and project pursuit department in bid preparation.
  • Provide business development skillsets to the Northern California region establishing and maintaining client relationships in securing projects to bid.
  • Resolves problems and implements ongoing efficiencies and project improvement while collaborating with Project Managers and Superintendents.
  • Assists with achieving a zero injury workplace by support and participating of companies training programs.
  • Oversee work of Project Engineers and Estimators that include bids, cost estimates, project logs, reporting guidelines, manuals and company policies and procedures.
