Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Epic Systems Analyst to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Epic professional to take on a high-impact analyst role supporting population health initiatives, with the flexibility of a fully remote position.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Epic Healthy Planet configuration, build, and optimization
  • Analyze workflows and translate clinical and operational requirements into effective Epic system solutions
  • Configure, test, and maintain Epic applications to support population health management initiatives
  • Collaborate with clinical, IT, and operational stakeholders to gather requirements and design solutions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, escalating complex problems as needed
  • Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and new module implementations
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including workflows, build specifications, and testing scripts
  • Provide end-user support and training on Epic Healthy Planet functionality
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, HIPAA regulations, and data security standards
  • Partner cross-functionally with other Epic application teams to ensure integrated system design

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of hands-on Epic Healthy Planet configuration experience
  • Prior experience working within a hospital or health system environment required
  • Epic certification(s) in Healthy Planet or related modules strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of population health workflows and care management processes
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and clinical teams
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting while managing multiple priorities and deadlines
