The Senior EA Role

This is a high-level Senior EA role at the centre of a fast-moving, international business, supporting a high-net-worth entrepreneur operating in the commodities sector. We are looking for an exceptionally experienced right hand Senior EA who is capable of managing both high-level business operations and the smooth running of the principal's business and personal life.

As the Senior EA, you will oversee two existing assistants, ensuring consistency, precision and the highest standards of support across the team. The role requires someone who has genuinely operated at the top level of a business before — someone who understands how founders and C-suite principals work, and who can step confidently into that world rather than learn it on the job.

The successful Senior EA will be the person the principal relies on to keep everything moving - inbox, internal and external communications, travel, logistics, legal documentation and the day-to-day operational detail that allows the business and the principal's life to run without friction. The business is in its early stage in Dubai, so it is a great opportunity to join a scaling business and make the role your own.

Senior EA Responsibilities
  • Heavy inbox management, drafting responses on behalf of the principal, replying on his behalf and flagging and filing. Creating tasks lists, folders etc
  • Diary management, organising meetings, preparing briefing packs etc
  • Minute meetings, prepare agendas and manage follow up
  • Manage high-level relationships on behalf of the principal, building relationships with other assistants and manage communications
  • Business Operations: financial and budget management on behalf of the CEO, company infrastructure, trade licences, marketing collateral, compliance etc
  • Team Management, including HR, mentoring and employee onboarding, liaising with the PRO etc for visas
  • Travel and Logistics – both commercial and private aviation, visas, security, hotels, detailed itineraries etc
  • Legal and administrative: handle contracts, NDAs and other legal documentation, liaising directly with lawyers on the principal's behalf. Ensure all agreements and sensitive paperwork are managed accurately, securely and on schedule
  • Confidentiality and Discretion: manage sensitive and confidential matters with absolute discretion at all times. Act as a trusted right hand to the principal, anticipating needs and resolving issues before they arise
  • Supporting the principal across his private life, working closely with the team to ensure all personal administration is kept up to date and properties are prepared ahead of the principal’s arrival
Senior EA Requirements
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in a similar high-level Executive Assistant or business operations role, with genuine seniority gained at Director, C-suite, or Founder level — including a minimum of 3 years' experience at Founder level
  • The ideal Senior EA will have proven experience managing or overseeing other assistants within a fast-paced, every-changing environment
  • A strategic right-hand who can remain two steps ahead
  • Confident, personable and tenacious – seeing tasks through to the end with the ability to build strong relationships along the way
  • Strong communication skills, you communicate with precision and brevity, and you are discreet without ever needing to be asked
  • You are comfortable with extensive international travel and flexible working across time zones
  • Ideally, some experience in a relevant industry sector – Oil & Gas, mining, financial services, commodities
  • The successful senior EA must have exposure to working in the GCC, but they don’t have to have lived here full-time before as long as they know the region well and have operated in a business capacity in the region
  • You must have a passport that allows you travel freely within Europe without a visa, and stay extended periods within the UK. As the Senior EA, you'll need to move confidently between both locations at short notice
  • Must have prior experience working in the UK, so you understand the market in London
Unfortunately, due to the sheer volume of applications we receive, we are unable to respond to each one individually. Therefore, if you have not heard from us within five working days then sadly your application has been unsuccessful.
