Location: New York City, NY (Hybrid – 1 day per week in office)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $150,000–$200,000 base + 20% bonus
Overview
Our client is seeking a Senior Director of Integrated Marketing to serve as a strategic resource and thought partner to Sales. Based in New York City in a hybrid capacity (one day per week onsite), this role provides leadership across integrated marketing and sales enablement initiatives—ensuring messaging is clear, compelling, and aligned to how the organization sells.
This leader will operate as an extension of the Sales team—keeping them out of the weeds by building strong strategy, delivering polished enablement tools, and creating immediate trust and confidence in client-facing conversations. With this area of the business poised for growth, this hire will help lay the foundation for future team expansion.
What You’ll Do
Strategic Sales Partnership
- Act as a core resource to Sales leadership, helping shape market strategy and align messaging to buyer needs
- Build integrated marketing and positioning strategies in close collaboration with Sales, ensuring materials reflect real-world selling dynamics
- Create trust quickly by delivering clear, sales-ready tools that simplify complex offerings
Sales Enablement & Narrative Development
- Lead development and refinement of core sales decks, brand-specific one-pagers, and strategic positioning frameworks
- Translate capabilities and outcomes into compelling narratives aligned to specialty categories and point-of-care use cases
- Strategically embed case studies and performance insights into sales materials to reinforce credibility and differentiation
- Audit current materials and recommend consolidation, refinement, or new asset creation
RFP & Contracting Oversight
- Oversee the internal RFP process, including standardized templates and quality assurance of responses
- Ensure clarity, consistency, and strong positioning in all proposals
- Lead standardization efforts around agency program contracting
- Train and guide team members reviewing contracts against pre-negotiated terms to drive efficiency and compliance
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Facilitate regular working sessions with Sales and Marketing stakeholders
- Establish structured review and approval checkpoints to maintain alignment and speed
- Support scalable frameworks and templates that enable efficient customization across brands and categories
What You’ll Need
- 10+ years of experience in sales enablement, integrated marketing, or market strategy within healthcare
- Background in pharma, healthcare media agencies, or vendor-side marketing strategy environments
- Experience building strategy in partnership with Sales and a strong understanding of how to support the commercial organization
- Ability to manage expectations of pharmaceutical manufacturers and senior stakeholders
- Experience from an agency, vendor, or pharmaceutical company environment (brand/product management experience on the pharma side is highly valued)
- Executive presence with the ability to create confidence quickly in both internal and external conversations
- Experience managing direct reports is a plus, though not required
