Our client is one of the top Pediatric hospitals in the United States at a Top 3 Childrens hospital in the United States according to US News & World Report.
They have an immediate need for a seasoned SENIOR DIRECTOR to lead one of their most high profile and most dynamic departments.
The selected candidate will have responsibility for over 120 fte's (indirect) and report directly to the ACNO for this service area. They are looking for a progressive, transformational leader to take a high functioning department to the next level.
Job Summary:
Responsible for the clinical practice of nursing for all psych needs across the enterprise and all units. This includes the setting of standards, development of systems, supervision of personnel and coordination with other disciplines and departments to achieve the mission and goals of the hospital.
Job Responsibilities:
- Participates in developing and maintaining a nursing director team, which is able to manage day-to-day operations in a coordinated fashion.
Required Licenses, Certifications, Registrations:
- RN - Registered Nurse.
Required Education and Experience:
Required Education:
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Senior leadership experience required.
Required Experience:
- 8 years of progressive nursing experience.
