Senior Director of Critical Care Services

East Coast

Our client is one of the top Pediatric hospitals in the United States.

They have an immediate need for a seasoned SENIOR DIRECTOR to lead one of their most high profile and lucrative departments.

The selected candidate will have responsibility for over 400 fte’s (indirect) and report directly to the CNO/VP of Patient Care. They are looking for a progressive, transformational leader to take a high functioning department to the next level.

Job Summary

Responsible for the clinical practice of nursing in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, Progressive Care Unit, Transport Team, and the Critical Care Center for Evidence and Outcomes. This includes the setting of standards, development of systems, supervision of personnel and coordination with other disciplines and departments to achieve the mission and goals of the hospital.

Job Responsibilities

  • Participates in developing and maintaining a nursing director team, which is able to manage day-to-day operations in a coordinated fashion.

Required Licenses, Certifications, Registrations

  • RN - Registered Nurse

Required Education and Experience

  • Required Education: Graduation from an ACEN and/or CCNE accredited school of nursing. Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • CCRN designation preferred
  • Senior leadership experience required
  • Required Experience: 8 years of progressive nursing experience.
