You will lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of directors, senior business development managers, and business development managers, creating clear expectations, KPIs, development plans, and a culture of accountability, collaboration, and performance.
You will drive demand generation, pipeline growth, deal progression, and revenue performance across commercial markets, while providing executive-level support on complex enterprise opportunities when needed.
You will serve as the senior internal voice for commercial markets, bringing insight into customer needs, buying behaviors, competitive dynamics, and market opportunities.
You will partner with marketing to shape vertical-specific messaging, thought leadership, and demand generation programs, while also working with product and technology teams to influence roadmap priorities for large-scale commercial deployments.
You will build and strengthen relationships with consultants, systems integrators, strategic technology partners, and enterprise customers across North America.
What You’ll Need
You will bring at least 10 years of experience in physical security, access control, enterprise security solutions, or a closely related field, along with significant leadership experience in a commercial, enterprise, or go-to-market environment.
You should have a strong understanding of enterprise physical access control environments, including traditional access control systems, Mercury-based architectures, mobile credentials, and digital identity solutions.
You will have proven experience leading and scaling large teams, ideally including 12 or more direct and indirect reports, and the ability to hire, develop, motivate, and retain high-performing commercial talent.
You should be comfortable navigating complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles with long lead times, senior-level decision makers, and matrixed internal teams.
Strong executive communication, strategic planning, commercial judgment, and presentation skills are essential.
A bachelor’s degree is required. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred. Experience influencing product roadmaps, partnering with engineering teams, and supporting global or multi-site deployments would be highly valuable.
This role requires willingness to travel across North America.
