This role sits at the heart of operations for a fast-growing global provider of life-saving emergency medical products. With a strong presence across tactical, civilian, and pre-hospital markets, the company is expanding its manufacturing capabilities in Israel and seeking a senior leader to drive performance, compliance, and cross-functional alignment. This critical role will directly manage Manufacturing and Supply Chain, while overseeing Engineering, Finance, IT, and Quality & Regulatory in close collaboration with local and global functional leaders.
Essential Job Functions:
Site and Country Leadership
- Lead Manufacturing and Supply Chain teams, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets are met.
- Drive operational excellence via continuous improvement, Lean methodologies, and performance management.
- Contribute to business strategy for Production, Distribution, and Supply Chain to meet short- and long-term objectives.
- Supervise Engineering, Finance, IT, and Quality & Regulatory functions in coordination with local functional leaders.
- Align site functions with global strategies while adapting to local regulatory needs.
- Serve as escalation point and coordinator across all site functions.
- Represent the Israeli site in global business and strategy forums.
- Oversee resource planning, workforce development, and succession planning.
- Monitor and report KPIs across all site operations.
- Manage financial performance, including budgets, COGS, variances, and project expenses.
- Ensure regulatory, legal, and environmental compliance.
- Partner with Quality & Regulatory Affairs for audit readiness and compliance.
- Build strong internal relationships with executive leadership, operations, R&D, and commercial teams.
- Represent the site with external stakeholders (e.g., suppliers, regulators, government).
- Facilitate strong communication between Israeli sites and global locations.
- Develop team capabilities through coaching, training, and development plans.
- Evaluate project/resource needs for successful implementation.
Production / Distribution / Supply Chain
- Oversee manufacturing processes and ensure production schedules meet quality, cost, and timing goals.
- Monitor data and reports to improve productivity, efficiency, and cost.
- Collaborate with global leaders on warehousing and distribution to meet margin targets.
- Ensure continuous improvements in Manufacturing and Warehouse operations.
- Support quality function improvements for inspections, supplier quality, and compliance.
- Work with global supply chain on procurement strategies for cost-effective, high-quality inputs.
Qualifications / Experience / Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years in manufacturing operations; 5+ years in senior leadership.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in regulated industries (e.g., medical devices, pharma, life sciences).
- Deep knowledge of manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, and quality systems.
- Strong business acumen, leadership presence, and communication skills.
- Fluent in English and Hebrew.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Skilled in scheduling, technical specifications, and safety compliance.
- Excels in transformational and scaling environments.
- Able to engage across all organizational levels and work both independently and collaboratively.
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills.
