Salary: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design and program PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems tailored to specific industry needs.
- Lead the completion of projects from the conceptual design stage through to final field commissioning.
- Supervise the assembly of control panels ensuring compliance with NEC and UL508A standards.
- Facilitate project management, maintaining active engagement with customers to manage expectations and project deliverables.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting during system commissioning, both onsite and remotely.
- Develop and implement innovative solutions to enhance system functionality and reliability.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-10 years of related experience in controls engineering.
- Proficient in designing and programming using PLCs like Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and Mitsubishi.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong time management skills.
- Adept in managing multiple project timelines and technical challenges efficiently.
- Willingness to travel locally up to 20% for project needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge and experience with software applications such as Visual Basic, C#, Python, and SQL Server.
- Experience in leading a team of engineers and technicians through complex projects.
- Prior experience in industries like automotive or material handling is highly desirable.
- Professional certifications related to control system engineering.
- Strong customer service orientation and excellent communication skills.

- Expertise in hardware design for control systems and robotics programming.
