Salary: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, program, and implement control systems including PLC, HMI, SCADA, and MES.
- Lead automation projects from concept through commissioning while managing project timelines and budgets.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues ensuring all systems and components meet established specifications and regulatory standards.
- Supervise junior engineers, overseeing their work and providing guidance to ensure project success.
- Manage customer relationships effectively, ensuring communication of project status and cultivating lasting partnerships.
- Provide onsite and remote technical support, aiding customers with system malfunctions and downtime.
- Ensure compliance with NEC codes and UL508A standards in all designs and implementations.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in industrial automation systems.
- Demonstrated experience with PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi).
- Proven ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong proficiency in troubleshooting and technical problem solving.
- Ability to travel locally up to 20% for site visits and project supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced certification in project management or control systems design.
- Experience in network design and implementation within industrial settings.
- Expertise in robotics programming and implementation in production environments.
- Prior leadership experience or formal supervisory roles.
