Senior Control Engineer

Salary: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design, program, and implement control systems including PLC, HMI, SCADA, and MES.
  • Lead automation projects from concept through commissioning while managing project timelines and budgets.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues ensuring all systems and components meet established specifications and regulatory standards.
  • Supervise junior engineers, overseeing their work and providing guidance to ensure project success.
  • Manage customer relationships effectively, ensuring communication of project status and cultivating lasting partnerships.
  • Provide onsite and remote technical support, aiding customers with system malfunctions and downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with NEC codes and UL508A standards in all designs and implementations.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in industrial automation systems.
  • Demonstrated experience with PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi).
  • Proven ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong proficiency in troubleshooting and technical problem solving.
  • Ability to travel locally up to 20% for site visits and project supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced certification in project management or control systems design.
  • Experience in network design and implementation within industrial settings.
  • Expertise in robotics programming and implementation in production environments.
  • Prior leadership experience or formal supervisory roles.
