Senior Construction Accountant - Dallas, Texas
As a Senior Construction Accountant, you will be working closely with the Corporate Controller and CFO to complete monthly close, be responsible for GAAP compliance, maintaining accurate and complete accounting records, implementing best practices. You will be a core member of the Finance organization where you will have exposure to multiple divisions; construction, renovation, manufacturing, and design. You will prepare monthly the work in progress (WIP) report, journal entries, monthly job cost and general ledger reconciliation reports. You will work collaboratively with designated business units and team members across the finance and organization.

Duties & Responsibilities
- 5+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
- Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements
- Experience using business reporting tools to create standard and ad-hoc report
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as a member of a cross-functional team
- Excellent communication skills, particularly the ability to communicate the complexities of GAAP accounting to non-accounting personnel
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent, MBA preferred
- Experience with percentage of completion accounting
- Experience with Sage or other Construction accounting software and SAP
