Position Overview:
The Bank is seeking an experienced and relationship-focused Community Bank President to lead its market presence. This individual will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of market growth, lending, credit quality, and community engagement while ensuring that the Bank maintains its reputation as a trusted, customer-first financial partner.
As a large community bank that operates with the heart of a small one, the Bank places an emphasis on building and sustaining long-term relationships with customers, businesses, and community organizations. The Community Bank President will serve as the face of the Bank in the market, driving strategy, developing teams, and fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Bank’s market operations, aligning with overall organizational goals.

Build and expand customer relationships across commercial, agricultural, and retail banking lines.

Lead business development efforts, with a strong focus on commercial lending, deposit growth, and community engagement.

Ensure the highest standards of credit quality and risk management.

Manage and develop a team of bankers, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and customer service excellence.

Actively participate in community organizations and events to represent the Bank and strengthen its presence.

Partner with executive leadership to shape strategy, product offerings, and market initiatives.

Drive financial performance, including profitability, efficiency, and sustainable growth.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).

Minimum of 10 years of progressive banking leadership experience, including commercial lending and credit management.

Proven success in leading teams, driving market growth, and building strong customer and community relationships.

Deep knowledge of commercial lending, credit analysis, and risk management practices.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and empower teams.
