Job Description

The Senior Business SAP FICO Analyst is a highly visible role, working closely with key stakeholders across the business. The role involves supporting high-profile strategic and operational initiatives, delivering financial and business insights, and making recommendations for short and long-term decisions. The Business Finance team is responsible for coordinating and facilitating corporate planning processes, analyzing financial performance, reporting financial and operational results, and improving financial results.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively deliver business and financial insights that provide management with important, actionable ways to understand the business
  • Assist business leaders with financial plans and analyses
  • Completion of management reporting package and improvements of existing process
  • Provide management with insight on all areas of cost and revenue
  • Actively participate in client’s short-term and long-term corporate forecasting process, including financial analyses and presentations
  • Identify and implement improvements for analysis and budgetary methods and procedures
  • Manage all existing standard reporting in the Business Finance function
  • Participate in projects to enhance and improve SAP and other IT systems used for budget/forecast
  • Serve as a liaison between client’s business stakeholders and third-party support providers
  • Lead special projects

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent
  • 5 plus years of experience in Finance or Accounting within a company with multiple subsidiaries
  • Demonstrable Experience with successfully delivering SAP ERP (namely S/4HANA) Implementations in FICO, OTC, PTP or PTI modules
  • Big 4 Experience Preferred
  • Experience with a commercial launch of a product in the Life Sciences or Pharmaceutical industry
  • Superior analytical and modeling skills
  • Comfortable with a fast-paced, always-on, frequently ambiguous environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with an ability to coordinate complex processes across multiple stakeholders across the organization
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, resourceful, and creative
  • Experience with financial statement analysis and an understanding of corporate finance concepts and processes
  • Must demonstrate the ability to collaborate and manage deliverables with third parties
  • Strong accounting, reporting, and IT systems competence
  • Power use of Excel and PowerPoint
