Senior Business Consultant
Job Description
We are seeking a professional and experienced Firm with strong Security Program background and expertise in Government of Canada Security Practices, that is, security principles, frameworks and best practices relevant to the Public Service.
Tasks and activities
The Contractor shall perform, to the satisfaction of FCAC’s representative(s), tasks and activities which include the following:
Initiate a kick-off meeting. The Contractor shall conduct a kick-off meeting (virtually or in person) with the Project Authority and other FCAC representatives. During this meeting, the Contractor shall:
Ask clarifying questions on the overall scope of the work, tasks to be perforned and timelines;
Provide the Project Authority with any initial requirements concerning data and document transfers;
Identify any preliminary considerations concerning delivery risks;
Update, if required, timelines outlined in the Contractor’s proposal while still adhering to the project end date.
Develop a work plan. The purpose of this task is to validate FCAC plan. The Contractor shall strengthen put in place the plan. The Contractor shall submit the work plan within two (2) weeks of the kick-off meeting. With the Project Authority’s approval, the Contractor may refine existing or develop additional data collection tools to collect and analyze data beyond what is originally outlined in the work plan.
Plan Implementation
Execute the approved work plan, ensuring all tasks and activities are performed to the satisfaction of FCAC’s representative(s).
Monitor progress regularly and provide updates to the Project Authority.
Address any issues or risks that arise during implementation promptly and effectively.
Ensure all deliverables are completed on time and meet the quality standards set by
