Senior Business Analyst (Debt + Investments)

About Our Client:
Our client is seeking a professional Senior Business Analyst a minimum of five years of related experience in an accounting and/or treasury environment.
Responsibilities
- Support organization-wide treasury strategic initiatives, cash and debt management, risk management and long term plans
- Manage ongoing compliance with company's external borrowing requirements
- Oversee Treasury month-end, year-end and budgeting/forecasting procedures
- Offer assistance to new business operations and activities
- Communicate information to the management staff
- Assist with the investment reporting and reconciliation procedure
- Create and organize journal entries and reconciliations
- Support Insurance renewals and/or claims
- Execute cross-functional and/or other duties as required
Qualifications
- University degree in Business Administration or equivalent program; MBA/CTP/CFA are an asset
- Professional accounting designation or relevant combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 5 years related experience in an accounting and/or treasury environment (hospital industry considered an asset
- Strong communication skills- both oral and written
- Detail oriented, analytical and excellent problem solver
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Ability to work both independently and as a team
- Ability to take initiative and perform strong leadership
