Senior/Principal Bioinformatics Scientist
Duties:

Managing cloud-based, end-to-end next-generation sequencing (NGS) data processing pipelines
Leading new assay validation and pipeline integration
Creating first-in-class systems used for high-volume molecular results review by clinical experts

Education/Experience:

B.S. degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Cancer Biology, or related field
5 years’ experience in professional bioinformatics /pipeline development
Expertise in at least one scripting language (preferably Python
Experience with NGS bioinformatics workflow including read QC, reference mapping, mutation detection, annotation and downstream filtering
Experience with version control software such as Git/GitHub
