  • Study support and leave for ACA/ACCA
  • Clear progression to Manager with real responsibility early

Why this business

A well-established and growing accountancy practice with a specialist client base and a reputation for high-quality delivery. Unlike larger firms, the audit team operates in a hands-on, commercially focused way - combining audit with accounts preparation to give a more complete view of client finances.

With continued growth, there is a genuine opportunity to influence how audits are executed, improve working practices, and raise standards across the team.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead audit engagements from planning through to completion, owning delivery end-to-end
  • Act as the primary contact for clients, building strong and trusted relationships
  • Supervise and develop junior staff, reviewing work and supporting their progression
  • Contribute to accounts preparation alongside audit work, broadening your technical exposure

What you’ll bring

  • 2-5 years’ audit experience within a UK accountancy practice
  • ACA/ACCA qualified or actively studying (finalist level considered)
  • Strong understanding of UK GAAP and ISAs (UK), with IFRS exposure advantageous
  • Experience preparing statutory accounts and confidence working across both audit and accounts preparation

Who this suits

You’re an Audit Senior who wants more responsibility and broader exposure than a traditional firm can offer. You’re confident working directly with clients, enjoy being part of a collaborative team, and want to play a role in improving how work is delivered - not just executing it.

You’ll thrive in a close-knit environment where communication matters and where you’re encouraged to get involved, contribute ideas, and grow quickly.
