Senior Auditor - Data Analytics
Our well established client has an immediate need for an Auditor II with Data Analytics experience.
The Data Analytics program is focused on increasing audit agility, efficiency, and risk coverage through data and technology.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Participate in audit planning discussions to understand audit objectives and to identify data needs
• Identify data requirements and data sources
• Query, link, validate and analyze data across multiple databases with a focus on data integrity
• Communicate results to the Data Analytics Project Manager and discuss potential barriers
• Assist in development of continuous auditing and monitoring processes
• Assist in training department personnel on data analytics and new technologies
• Contribute to the department’s success through participation in initiatives and special projects
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree IT related
• Minimum of two years of experience working with data and querying tools
• Strong technical and data analytics skills
• Experience with performing analytics, and querying databases (SQL Server, SAS, Tableau, Teradata, SAP HANA, etc.) required
• Organized approach in the collection and analysis of large amounts of data
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to learn new skills as needed to perform challenging and complex tasks
• Ability to manage multiple competing tasks and projects
• Knowledge of audit standards and methodologies, generally accepted accounting principles, and security
• CPA, CISSP, CISA, or CIA certification or currently sitting for one of these certifications is required
