Senior Audit Manager - Non-Profit and Multi-Industry sought who can join the firm as an experienced audit manager for the firm's audit services, influencing and motivating a dedicated team of client-oriented audit professionals. Ideal candidate a growth-oriented leader who will pull the firm's pendulum toward accountability, and if desired, can achieve an audit partner position in a short period of time.

This upstate New York area firm, recognized as one of the largest independent CPA and business advisory firms in the region, prides itself in offering trusted industry expertise rendered with a highly personal touch. Firm works primarily with privately held companies of varied ownership structures, private equity groups and non-profit organizations, ranging in size from start-ups to organizations in excess of $450 million. Diverse practice offerings have resulted from meeting the many needs of our clients.

This role provides an early chance to demonstrate organizational leadership savvy, moving the audit services forward. A big feature of the role, and an ingredient in making audit partner rapidly, motivating and leading the audit team to work collaboratively to continue the high-caliber audit consulting services.

Success Profile for this Firm:

• Top 100 or national level firm experience

• Firm experiences in the 10-15-year range

• 1 or 2 public accounting firms in their career

• Audit leadership experience in Non-Profit and at least one other industry :

+ Manufacturing, Wholesale Distribution, Hospitality, or Service industries

• Ideally some life history - lived, worked, or educated - in upstate New York or Vermont or western Massachusetts

• High learning agility

• Very relational – both internally and externally

• High G.A.S (Give A Shit)
