Who:
We are seeking an experienced audit professional with at least 3 years in public accounting who communicates effectively and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

You will lead audit engagements, develop audit programs, perform technical research, mentor staff, and deliver high-quality services to international inbound clients.

Salary:
Base salary range is $75,000–$90,000/year, depending on experience, skills, and location.
Position Overview:
The Senior Audit Associate will lead audit engagements for U.S.-inbound international businesses, prepare workpapers and documentation, guide junior staff, and support business development efforts while ensuring timely, high-quality client service.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise audit engagements with a focus on manufacturing and distribution.

Develop and execute audit programs, including risk assessment, control evaluation, and test design.

Conduct technical accounting research on various topics.

Deliver timely, accurate, and high-quality workpapers and communications.

Maintain proactive communication to manage expectations and ensure client satisfaction.

Mentor staff through training, coaching, and providing developmental feedback.

Delegate effectively, removing obstacles and setting clear goals.

Work with partners and senior managers on proposals and business development opportunities.

Support staff learning through knowledge-sharing and skill-building.
Required Skills & Experience:

Minimum 3 years of professional experience, preferably in public accounting.

BA/BS in Accounting or Master’s in Accounting/Taxation.

Strong English communication, writing, and research skills.

Process-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Solid organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects.

Positive, team-oriented attitude.
Preferred Skills & Experience:

CPA license or similar certification (preferred, not required).

Experience in manufacturing and distribution industries.

German language skills a plus.

Experience with ProSystem fx Engagement or CCH Axcess.
