We are seeking a seasoned Audit Senior Associate to join our leading South Carolina-based accounting and consulting firm. Salary: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the completion of engagements, ensuring compliance with timeframes and budget constraints, and according to quality control standards.
- Establish and maintain effective, professional relationships with client personnel, facilitating team discussions and demonstrating professionalism throughout.
- Identify, recommend, and implement internal control improvements that may include operational enhancements or efficiencies for clients.
- Address client concerns proactively, escalate issues as necessary, and provide insightful solutions.
- Maintain up-to-date industry knowledge to ensure the application of best practices in auditing procedures.
- Manage multiple engagements simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
- Exercise independent thinking and decision-making in the management of audit engagements.
- Provide mentoring and development opportunities for Interns, Associates, and Senior Associates, fostering a supportive and motivating work environment.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
- Holder of CPA certification or actively pursuing certification.
- A minimum of 2 years of auditing experience within a public accounting firm.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing a team in a professional setting.
- Demonstrated ability in client relationship management and leadership.
- Well-versed in current accounting regulations, standards, and practices.
