Senior Associate/Partner - Private Client Services

As a Senior Associate or Partner, this position requires deep involvement in estate planning, estate and gift taxation, along with estate and trust administration. Salary: DOE per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive estate planning and drafting wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents.
  • Provide expert guidance on estate and gift taxation to minimize tax liabilities and ensure compliance with current laws.
  • Manage the administration of estates and trusts, navigating complex legal and financial landscapes.
  • Advise corporate fiduciaries, such as banks and trust companies, on their roles and responsibilities in estate and trust management.
  • Support charitable organizations and foundations in planned giving and charities law compliance.
  • Handle international estate planning, providing advice on cross-border implications and opportunities.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • 5-15 years of experience in estate planning, taxation, and administration.
  • Must be a member in good standing of the Florida Bar.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle complex legal matters independently and professionally.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective client interactions and document preparation.
  • Proven track record of acting ethically and with integrity in all business dealings.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • LLM in Tax or Estate Planning.
  • Experience with international estate planning.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • In-depth knowledge of federal and state tax laws.
