Salary: $145,000 - $200,000

If so, our client invites you to join their team as a Senior Associate. This position is based in Fairfax County.

In this role, you’ll hone your business development and project management skills while guiding and developing a talented team of engineers to leave your mark on our thriving land development practice and community. Key Responsibilities:

Provide design oversight and technical leadership for site civil projects through all phases of planning, design, permitting, and construction support.

Lead and oversee QA/QC of site civil deliverables to ensure consistency with company standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.

Manage project financial performance, including scope, schedule, budget, forecasting, and profitability.

Support workload planning and resource allocation to ensure projects are properly staffed and delivered efficiently.

Build, mentor, and develop project teams by providing technical guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.

Support marketing and business development efforts, including proposal development, pursuit strategy, and client interviews.

Collaborate with Principals, Associates, and others to identify new opportunities and expand existing client relationships.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and the possession or pursuit of a PE license.
- 10 years + of experience in land development/site civil engineering
- Proven leadership skills and a passion for mentoring junior engineers.
- Expertise in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools.
