Senior Associate, Federal Tax

Location: South Florida or Atlanta, GA (REMOTE)
Our client is seeking a Senior Associate to join their growing Federal Tax practice in Miami or Atlanta (REMOTE). The Federal Tax team specializes in providing tax consulting and compliance services to multinational public and private companies.
What will you be doing?
As a member of the team, you will:
- Conduct and review research and analysis of a wide range of tax issues related to business transactions and tax implications of financing techniques for a variety of entities and their affiliates
- Participate in tax-planning for corporate clients
- Apply tax technical knowledge to specific client situations
- Interface with client personnel to obtain information and deliver a high quality project on time and on budget
- Clearly communicate work plan and project objectives to project team
- Assist with tax compliance needs of select clients
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Opportunity to network with existing and prospective clients and allows the individual to assume additional responsibility quickly

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 2+ years of relevant experience in federal taxation
- CPA or Licensed Attorney (or in the process of pursuing)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to articulate complex information
- Strong analytical skills
- High proficiency in spreadsheets
- Ability to simultaneously work on several projects and effectively manage deadlines
- High motivation to learn and grow
- Detail-oriented and possess strong organizational skills to excel in a deadline-driven environment.
