Our client is seeking a Senior Associate of Construction Finance. Reporting to the Director of Construction Finance, this person will bring a blend of financial and analytical capabilities and strong communication skills and will aid the Construction Finance team in budgeting, forecasting, variance reporting and analysis of the company's multi-billion-dollar capital projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist in financial management of specific business area(s), providing budget development, actuals reporting, variance analysis, trend and forecast updates, liquidity management, change management, contract review, supplier risk analysis, and assistance with accounting treatment.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on financial results, support external reporting requirements, and perform ad-hoc reporting, as requested.
  • Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including the development, construction, accounting, and project controls teams to track financial performance, maintain budgets, and drive operational excellence.
  • Develop and improve existing processes and influence change across teams.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Analytics or a related quantitative field
  • 3 years of progressive experience in Finance, Business Analytics, Cost Engineering, Project Controls, Accounting or a related field(s)
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude, eager to learn with a passion for continuous improvement
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Great organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple deadlines effectively
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in utilizing Microsoft applications, including Excel and PowerPoint, to analyze data and communicate conclusions
  • Willing to work in office daily
  • Occasional travel to construction sites or offices in Houston may be required
