Senior Associate Attorney/Counsel - Employment & Class Action

Salary: $225,000.00 - $350,000.00 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate extensively with class action merits teams to prepare in-depth and comprehensive briefs and motions.
  • Draft complex dispositive motions, motions for summary judgment, and decertification motions.
  • Handle motions to compel arbitration, and prepare comprehensive mediation statements.
  • Conduct robust legal research and integrate relevant legal precedents to support case facts and strategies.
  • Prepare detailed opposition briefs for class and collective treatment as well as appellate briefs.
  • Develop mediation statements and other critical legal documents for varied jurisdictions.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
  • Bar Admission in Illinois.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in legal research and writing, specifically in class action matters.
  • Proven expertise in forming and executing brief strategies for complex class action cases.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with superior research, organizational, and writing skills.
  • Updated knowledge of employment and class action law across various jurisdictions.
