We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Associate or Partner to join our renowned Private Client Services Practice Group at our Miami office. This pivotal role focuses on providing comprehensive estate planning, tax advisory, and trust administration services to a diverse clientele including individuals, corporate fiduciaries, and charitable entities. Salary: Commensurate with experience
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on a broad range of estate planning matters, including drafting wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents.
- Assist with estate and gift tax planning, preparing tax returns and formulating tax strategies to optimize clients' financial positions.
- Manage estate and trust administrations, ensuring compliance with all legal, fiscal, and fiduciary obligations.
- Provide guidance and support to charitable organizations, foundations, and corporate fiduciaries such as banks and trust companies.
- Partake in complex international estate planning, enhancing global wealth management strategies for clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the firm to deliver holistic solutions to clients.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Licensed member of the Florida Bar.
- 5-15 years of experience in estate planning, tax advisory, and trust administration.
- Demonstrated proficiency in estate and gift taxation.
- Strong history of working with high-net-worth individuals and institutional clients.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a talent for client interaction.
- Demonstrated ability to handle complex legal and tax matters independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- An LLM in Taxation or Estate Planning is highly preferred.
- Experience in international estate planning.
- Prior experience in a senior role within a private client service practice.
- Exposure to corporate fiduciary advisory.
- Experience working in AmLaw 150 or other prestigious law firms.
- Proven track record of business development and client relationship management.
