We are seeking an experienced Apparatus Field Technician to perform electrical testing and commissioning at utility substations across the United States. This is a highly travel-intensive position supporting primarily utility clients.

Responsibilities

• Test, troubleshoot, and commission substation apparatus.
• Perform testing on transformers, circuit breakers, switchgear, batteries, and related equipment.
• Complete test documentation and communicate findings to customers and project teams.
• Follow all company and site safety procedures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of substation apparatus testing experience.
• NETA Level II certification or higher is preferred.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively, including up to 100%.
• Comfortable performing the physical and outdoor requirements of fieldwork.
• Valid driver’s license and a strong commitment to safety.

Compensation and Benefits

• Guaranteed 40 hours of pay per week.
• Typical schedule of approximately 50–60 hours per week.
