What you will be doing as the Senior Analyst, Mutual Fund Financial Reporting:

  • Participate in the preparation of Fund financial statements and various financial filings.
  • Perform daily reviews of requirements and transactions related to derivatives.
  • Assist with implementation and analysis of new SEC rules and regulations (TSR Rule, Names Rule, updates to Form N-Port reporting, etc.), as well as other applicable rules and regulations (FASB, AICPA, CFTC, FINRA, etc.)
  • Participate in the oversight of the Fund's service providers.
  • Contribute to various fund project reports and analysis, as well as other ad-hoc projects.
  • Participate in a variety of operational duties related to mutual funds and other entities, as needed.
  • Provide documentation to and assist external auditors for year-end audits.

What you will need as the Senior Analyst, Mutual Fund Financial Reporting:

  • 2-5 years of experience in investment accounting, auditing or financial reporting
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting
  • Ability to build spreadsheets and run analysis including complex formulas
  • Ability to demonstrate spreadsheet construction and analysis skills, including moderately complex formula construction.
  • Problem solving and excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to clearly articulate results of financial analysis or impacts of rules and regulations to management, as well as external parties, including sub-advisers, auditors, and vendors.
  • CPA preferred
  • Experience with ArcReporting or ArcFiling preferred
  • Familiarity with Investment Company Act of 1940, GAAP, Internal Revenue Code Statutes, Regulation S-X preferred
