Our client is a rapidly growing e-commerce company and is currently seeking an Senior Accounting Manager to join their team and support their ongoing expansion.

The Senior Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing all accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and providing strategic insights to support business decisions. This role will play a critical part in managing the accounting team and optimizing financial processes within the fast-paced e-commerce environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring efficient processing and collections.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning efforts.
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to management on financial performance and operational efficiency.
  • Mentor and develop accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Liaise with external auditors and financial institutions as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 6+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA certification.
  • Experience with e-commerce accounting practices, including inventory management and sales tax compliance.
  • Familiarity with financial forecasting and budgeting processes.
  • Proven ability to drive process improvements and efficiency within the accounting function.
