Senior Accountant - Kennesaw, GA

Our company is seeking a Senior Accountant with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, and at least 2 years of for-profit, corporate accounting experience. The ideal candidate should have advanced experience with MS Excel (pivots, V-lookups, etc) and Office Suite, and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Familiarity with Accounting / ERP software, specifically SAP, is also required. Knowledge of manufacturing processes is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports to provide accurate and timely financial information to management
• Ensure that all financial reports are accurate and comply with GAAP
• Perform monthly reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts
• Manage the month-end close process, including the preparation of journal entries, and the reconciliation of all accounts
• Assist with annual audits and tax returns
• Maintain fixed asset schedules and reconcile the asset ledger to the general ledger
• Work with cross-functional teams to support various ad-hoc projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years of for-profit, corporate accounting experience
• Advanced experience with MS Excel (pivots, V-lookups, etc) and Office Suite
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
• Familiarity with Accounting / ERP software, specifically SAP
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes - strongly preferred
• Master’s Degree in Accounting and/or CPA or CMA is a plus
• Big 4 firm or public accounting experience is a plus
• Experience with multi-state Sales Tax submission is a plus
• Accounting role in a manufacturing company is a plus
