We are looking for a Senior Accountant to work for our Downtown Columbus client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

Responsibilities:

• Perform monthly closings duties, including preparation of standard journal entries and posting of journal entries in SAP.
• Drives cost reduction opportunities within the organization
• Analyze actual results and prepare monthly and quarterly financial statement variance analyses versus Forecast, Budget, and Prior Year
• Support and provide value-added insight during the implementation of SAP throughout the business requirements, data migration, and conversion processes
• Ensure compliance with GAAP principles
• Support both internal and external audits.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Prior SAP experience
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
