The Senior Accountant will be responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. The right candidate will have a strong knowledge of GAAP, intercompany transactions, and the ability to multitask efficiently and prioritize tasks effectively.

Primary Objectives

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes and preparation of financial reporting in accordance with GAAP
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of transactions and financial reporting
• Review and validate financial information provided by subsidiaries
• Perform eliminations, translation, and consolidation in a timely and accurate manner
• Monitor performance highlights and produce monthly sales, gross margin & expense analysis
• Prepare weekly revenue forecasts and backlog reporting and analysis
• Coordinate with subsidiaries and department leaders to prepare annual budget.
• Prepare and review account reconciliations on a monthly basis resolving any issues in a timely and thorough manner.
• Manage Corporate credit card program.
• Identify and develop process improvements to streamline reporting and improve efficiency.
• Work with the Corporate Controller on special projects and other initiatives as required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or higher
• 3+ years of professional accounting experience for a manufacturing or distribution company
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
