SENIOR ACCOUNTANT - INVESTMENTS
HYBRID - 4 days in office, 1 day REMOTE
Location: Princeton NJ area
Salary to $100K plus incentives

Responsibilities

• Compile and analyze financial information for year-end reporting.
• Review financials of investment companies and identify SEC, GAAP or IFRS compliance.
• Identify and interpret financial and operational risk.
• Evaluate appropriateness of valuation methodologies and conclusions.
• Perform month end closing procedures.
• Ensure investment valuations are calculated according to global accounting standards.
• Continually improve operational efficiency.
• Process cash and security movements across all asset classes.
• Reconcile internal records with custodial bank.
• Research and reconcile partner statements and financials with internal records and agreements.
• Calculate carried interest payments and reserve accruals.
• Assist in vendor management.

Qualifications

• BA, preferably in accounting, finance.
• 1 ½ to 3 years previous experience in an accounting role.
• Experience in Microsoft Office applications and relational database management.
• Comfortable with automation and seeking workflow improvements.
• CPA or CFA a plus.
