About Our Client:

Our client is a recognized company and they’re looking to add a Senior Accountant to their accounting team for a permanent position

Major Job Responsibilities:

• Monthly financial statement and report preparation, validation, and ultimate submission by the reporting deadlines set
• Review sales, cost of sales, margins, inventory and other related accounts ensuring proper accounting activity and adherence to IFRS accounting standards
• Responsible for accounting functions related to the accounting system and ensuring such activity is properly reflected in general ledger
• Prepare account reconciliations for all related balance sheet accounts, including provision accounts
• Support the reconciliation of sales and cost of accounts and correct all discrepancies prior to the final general ledger closing for the month
• Prepare and analyze balance sheet and income statement account fluctuation analysis for Accounting in support of monthly financial review meetings as required

Experience, Skills and Education

• CPA designated or ACCA designated, or close to completion
• Knowledge and experience with full cycle shared service accounting
• Experience and exposure with IFRS
• High level proficiency with Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel required
• Previous accounting and reconciliation experience required
• Previous experience successfully handling multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience with accounting systems or SAP
