SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Job Description:

  • Preparation of monthly account reconciliations and analysis; understand it contents and assure accuracy and completeness.
  • Responsible for monthly closing process, completion and posting of journal entries and reports.
  • Implement and responsible for cost accounting system and maintenance of standard cost and reporting
  • Assist with preparation of monthly business review package, ad hoc reporting, forecast and annual operating plan providing timely and accurate reporting
  • Work with business teams to develop special reports and analytical tools to provide better performance tracking
  • Preparation of financial statements and ensure all accounts are in compliance with GAAP reporting
  • Capital project tracking and reporting along with fixed asset maintenance and reporting
  • Assist financial users with questions regarding ERP and financial information systems
  • Assist in integrating acquisitions into current procedures
  • Special projects and other duties will be performed as assigned.

All candidates MUST have the following experiences to qualify for consideration:

  • A minimum of six to eight years accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize tasks and meet required deadlines.
  • Extensive knowledge of Excel and Word.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment with a high level of autonomy.
  • Detail Oriented.
  • Experience with MAS200, J D Edwards and/or Prism a plus.
