Key Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements—including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements—to ensure accuracy and alignment with applicable accounting standards.

Manage month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis.

Oversee monthly commissions calculations and related accruals, while supporting internal teams with inquiries.

Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of sales and use tax obligations, including oversight of tax automation tools.

Support merger and acquisition activities, including integration of acquired entities, alignment of accounting policies, and onboarding of processes and systems.

Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies to facilitate audits and ensure compliance with all relevant requirements.

Develop, improve, and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Monitor updates to GAAP and IFRS and ensure compliance with all applicable standards.

Build effective partnerships with internal leaders and key stakeholders across the business.

Provide analytical support, financial insights, and decision-making guidance for ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives.

Contribute to continuous improvement efforts focused on efficiency, accuracy, and process enhancement.

Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and financial materials for senior leadership and external stakeholders.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

2–4 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a senior-level role.

Strong understanding of core accounting and finance principles.

Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-changing environment.

Experience with ERP systems

Advanced proficiency with Excel and strong skills in PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office applications.

Strong project management capabilities.
-
High level of ownership, initiative, and commitment to delivering results.

Experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly job-shop or project-based settings, preferred.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
-
CPA or CMA preferred.
-
Experience in public accounting highly valued.
-
Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced analysis.
-
Authorization to work in the United States.
