Role Responsibilities 

  • Responsible for accurate and timely month-end close activities that includes (but not limited to) analysis and reporting, journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Revenue analytics to ensure accuracy of results and while working closely with internal teams to validated and investigate issues.
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining systems, procedures and policies
  • Participates in external audit activities and audit preparation for quarterly reviews and annual audits
  • Recommend to management any updates to accounting policies, procedures and processes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to drive change that will assist in the scaling of operations through automation, work assessment and process improvement.
  • Adhere to accounting policies and procedures and additional ad hoc activities as needed

As a managed security provider, Company expects its employees to understand and apply commonly known security practices and possess a working knowledge of applicable industry controls such as NIST 800-53. Employees will be expected to acknowledge their security responsibilities in writing prior to gaining access to company systems. Employees will be required to maintain a working knowledge of local security policies and execute general controls as assigned.



Qualifications

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience (Undergraduate degree and 6 to 8 years relevant experience or Graduate degree and 4 to 6 years relevant experience)
  • Provides suggestions for improving processes performed within the department
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and US GAAP relevant to work area
  • Strong knowledge of systems and automation tools (including Excel and Access, etc.)
  • Drives department projects (strategic, tactical and control) where analytical and relational initiative is required
