Senior Accountant

Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant. In this role, you’ll support the Corporate Controller with financial reporting, consolidations, intercompany eliminations, and ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP. You will also work closely with subsidiaries to ensure consistent accounting policies, assist with technical accounting research, and serve as a liaison for external auditors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to the parent corporation.
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including consolidations and intercompany eliminations.
• Coordinate with subsidiaries to ensure consistent accounting policies and reporting practices.
• Research and analyze complex accounting issues, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and regulatory standards.
• Provide guidance on accounting policies and assist in implementing new accounting standards.
• Assist in preparing white papers and technical accounting memos.
• Serve as the liaison for external auditors, ensuring the timely completion of annual audits and supporting internal financial controls.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in public accounting or a large corporation.
• BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA preferred, but not required.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt in a dynamic, changing environment.
