The Senior Corporate Accountant plays a critical role in managing the company’s financial records, ensuring accurate reporting, and maintaining compliance with US GAAP. This position involves overseeing month-end close activities, balance sheet reconciliations, and fixed asset management while supporting audits and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee multi-entity journal entries and manage the month-end close process.
  • Prepare and reconcile balance sheet accounts across multiple entities.
  • Maintain the fixed assets register, track additions/disposals, and record depreciation expenses.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and financial records.
  • Ensure all accounting activities comply with US GAAP standards.
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support decision-making and business strategy.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Master’s degree in Accounting or CPA certification (required).
  • Strong experience with reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close activities.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and financial modeling.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
