The Senior Corporate Accountant plays a critical role in managing the company’s financial records, ensuring accurate reporting, and maintaining compliance with US GAAP. This position involves overseeing month-end close activities, balance sheet reconciliations, and fixed asset management while supporting audits and financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee multi-entity journal entries and manage the month-end close process.
- Prepare and reconcile balance sheet accounts across multiple entities.
- Maintain the fixed assets register, track additions/disposals, and record depreciation expenses.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and financial records.
- Ensure all accounting activities comply with US GAAP standards.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support decision-making and business strategy.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Master’s degree in Accounting or CPA certification (required).
- Strong experience with reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close activities.
- Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and financial modeling.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
