Senior Accountant

South Sound Construction firm seeks a dynamic Senior Accountant to join their team! Our client has grown from a modest company into one of the leaders in their industry. With a diverse portfolio from in parks construction, landscape construction, through restoration, they cover a broad spectrum of industries and clients. This highly skilled Senior Accountant to will join their well tenured accounting team and contribute to their continued growth.

What the job looks like:

Overseeing financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making. This position requires advanced accounting expertise, strong analytical skills, and manage complex accounting processes. If this is you here are your responsibilities:

Financial Reporting and Analysis
General Ledger Management
Budgeting and Forecasting
Compliance and Audit
Accounts Payable and Receivable

Minimum Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA a plus but not required.
Minimum of 4+ years of progressive experience in accounting.
Senior supervisory role a plus.
Experience in the construction industry preferred.
Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Comp is 85 - 97K plus up to 20% bonus and a very extensive benefit plan!!!!
