Requirements:
We’re on the hunt for a seasoned Senior Accounting professional to join our vibrant finance team. The ideal candidate brings a robust background in fiscal management, with a knack for overseeing comprehensive account records, ensuring precision in financial documentation, and facilitating seamless monthly and annual reporting cycles. This role demands a sharp eye for maintaining the integrity of financial systems, crafting detailed entries, and adhering to established regulatory standards. Beyond the numbers, the Financial Specialist will serve as a trusted ally to various operational units, supporting their accounting needs with insight and expertise.
Advanced degree in financial studies, economics, or a similar discipline; certification as a financial professional (or progress toward it) is a plus.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience managing detailed account systems.
- Deep understanding of standard financial protocols and reporting frameworks.
- Proficiency with financial tools and integrated business platforms.
- Stellar analytical chops, with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and solution-building.
- Self-starter mentality, thriving under tight deadlines and juggling competing demands.
- Top-notch communication skills—written and spoken—to bridge teams and functions.
- Bonus points for experience in production or distribution settings, particularly with inventory and cost tracking
- Manage and refine the core financial records, ensuring all entries align with compliance benchmarks.
- Review and log financial transactions, backing them up with thorough documentation per internal guidelines.
- Conduct in-depth reviews of account details, swiftly addressing any inconsistencies.
- Spearhead the monthly and annual wrap-up processes, delivering precise and punctual reports.
- Partner with other teams to compile critical data and iron out wrinkles during reporting cycles.
- Produce accurate reconciliations of financial standings to uphold reporting integrity.
- Collaborate with regional leaders to review fiscal outcomes, ensuring alignment with operational realities.
- Guide regional teams through the yearly planning process for resource allocation.
- Handle tax filings—sales, property, and more—along with other regulatory obligations as assigned.
- Work hand-in-hand with diverse groups (billing, collections, planning teams, regional staff) to keep financials on point.
- Drive the creation and rollout of streamlined financial practices, spotting inefficiencies and pitching upgrades to leadership.
- Support compliance reviews by supplying necessary records and tackling inquiries head-on.
