We are looking for a Senior Accountant to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional with a background in manufacturing environments, bringing strong expertise in inventory, cost accounting, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
• Manage inventory accounting, including reconciliations and adjustments
• Partner with operations to ensure accurate cost tracking and inventory valuation
• Analyze financial results, including variances related to production and COGS
• Support audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and finance teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4+ years of accounting experience (manufacturing experience required)
• Strong knowledge of inventory accounting and cost-related processes
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
• Understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
