Senior Accountant - Norcross, Ga - Base salary up to 85k plus bonus

The general ledger accountant is responsible for the creating of journal entries and assembling
supporting documentation, as well as for tracking the contents of accounts, and creating portions of the
financial statements.

Key Accountabilities/Essential Functions:
 Month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing
 Monthly balance sheet and expense account fluctuation analysis
 Prepare month end journal entries
 Balance sheet account reconciliations and in-depth analysis for assigned accounts
 Manage fixed asset reporting
 Property, sales and use tax and franchise tax returns
 Ensure that all financial information is recorded in accordance with GAAP and Federal and State
regulations and consistent with established company policy and procedures.
 Interface with management in various departments concerning accounting information

Required Knowledge/Qualifications:

BA Accounting degree from an accredited four year college or university
 CPA orcandidate preferred
 2years minimum experience with general ledger responsibility
 Oracle R12 financial application experience preferred
 Technical skills including GAAP and Internal Controls
 Intermediate user of Microsoft Excel – (Pivot Table & VLOOKUP)
 Strong organizational and communication skills
 Ambitious and motivated self-starter
