Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to support core accounting operations and financial reporting activities. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented accounting professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is comfortable handling complex accounting tasks while contributing to process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• Analyze financial results and investigate variances
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policies
• Assist with preparation of financial statements and management reporting
• Support internal and external audit requests by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiencies within accounting operations
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to resolve accounting issues and support business initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP
• Experience with general ledger accounting and account reconciliations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule in Westerville, Ohio
