We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join our team of talented professionals.
The position of Senior Accountant is responsible for the maintenance and accuracy of the general ledger and generation of all monthly reports. This position is also responsible for account reconciliations and ensuring the accuracy of payroll and accounts payable data entering the general ledger. This position works with other department personnel to insure accurate customer billings and is responsible for maintenance of the Great Plains accounting software. Regular working hours are expected to be Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM; however, specific tasks and/or processes will require work to be done during non-normal working hours.
To qualify for this position, you will need:
- At least a high school diploma is required (Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred).
- Four (4) years of general ledger experience required.
- Experience with Great Plains accounting software preferred.
- Professional working experience in the mental health or social services field is a plus.
- Professional experience in a non-profit business environment preferred.
