Senior Accountant CPA Public Accounting firm

They strive towards providing additional quality services such as incorporating new companies, tax planning, relocation tax expertise, and providing accounting software and training.

They are the small to mid-size company's accounting firm and gear many of our services towards those businesses. They pride themselves in providing high quality, personalized service in a relaxed and friendly environment.

Our client has retained our firm to assist them in identifying to talent for a Senior Accountant opening due to explosive growth.

Responsibilities would include, income tax preparation, accounting services, financial statement preparation and strong organizational skills.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Master Degree, with major in accounting.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of GAAP and OCBOA principles.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of payroll tax processing.
  • Experience preparing and reviewing individual and business income tax returns.
  • Detail-oriented with ability to identify problem areas and recommend corrective actions.
  • Able to perform research with a high level of analytical skill and communicate the results.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPA designation (or candidate) and/or advanced degree.2-4 years of experience in public accounting, concentrating in accounting and taxation.
  • Experience with Ultratax a plus.
  • Experience with QuickBooks software required
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Able to work independently to guarantee the accurate and timely completion of tasks.
