CBIZ Talent Solutions is assisting our client in their search for a Senior Accountant role in Audubon, PA.

Position Overview

The Senior Accountant will play a key role in supporting the month end close process and maintaining the integrity of the general ledger. This member of the team will focus on recording financial transactions, performing account reconciliations and enabling the accurate and timely reporting of financials.

Essential Responsibilities

• Maintain an intricate knowledge and understanding of GAAP policies
• Prepare and record journal entries to facilitate the month end close process
• Perform account reconciliations and create adequate support for the balances
• Support the revenue recognition process through invoice creation
• Assist with the external audit process
• Provide recommendations for process improvements through automation, internal controls and other opportunities for efficiency gains
• Participate in special projects and/or ad-hoc analysis needs that arise

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• CPA preferred
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in a general accounting position
• Solid understanding of GAAP and accrual basis accounting
• Attention to detail of the highest degree
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products (especially Excel)
• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP and accounting systems
