Senior Accountantとして日々の会計業務に加え、財務管理及び財務報告を幅広く担当して頂きます。
財務記録の正確性を維持し、財務諸表や各種レポートの作成、月次・四半期・年次決算、予算管理、税務コンプライアンス、連結財務諸表の作成などを行なって頂きます。
財務計画における重要なマネージメントのサポート役として、CFOの元、自立して業務を遂行できる方を募集しています。
下記以外、必要に応じた会計関連業務に、フレキシブル尚且つ積極的に対応して頂ける方を求めています。
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in accordance with GAAP.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and supporting schedules.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances.
• Prepare and file sales tax, use tax, and other required tax reports, and coordinate with external tax advisors on income tax matters.
• Prepare and analyze WIP schedules, monitor project costs, and reconcile WIP balances.
• Assist in the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
• Monitor actual financial performance against budgets, perform variance analysis, and provide recommendations to management.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, improve operational efficiency, and support strategic decision-making.
• Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, GAAP, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• Assist with internal and external audits by preparing schedules and supporting documentation.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Five (5) or more years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
- Experience with consolidated financial statements and intercompany accounting.
- Experience preparing tax reports and supporting tax compliance.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Experience preparing and analyzing Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedules.
- Proficiency with ERP/accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Fluency in both English and Japanese (written and verbal) is required.
- CPA certification is preferred but not required.
